This site is the entry point for secure remote access to Miller Lab computers and the software and research tools installed on them. It is intended for lab members and authorized collaborators who need to work from outside the physical lab or connect to shared environments.

- Connection and session guides: docs.miller-lab.university.edu/remote (VPN prerequisites, browser requirements, desktop vs. shell access).
- Support
- Primary: compute@miller-lab.university.edu. Include your username, machine or session name, and the last 20 lines of any error log. Urgent outages: follow the lab’s escalation list posted in the shared drive.
- Usage
- Workstations and shared queues are for Miller Lab–approved research. Long jobs should use designated batch hosts where available. Interactive sessions may be reclaimed after extended idle time or during scheduled maintenance (typically Sunday 06:00–10:00 local).
- Help hours
- Walk-in: Wednesdays 14:00–16:00, Science Hall 3.142 · Same-day questions may also be queued by email; responses are usually within one business day.
